Full Swing: Netflix’s Highly-Acclaimed Docuseries on the PGA Tour
Golf fans around the world have been eagerly awaiting the release of Full Swing, Netflix’s new docuseries about the PGA Tour.[0] After months of waiting, the eight-episode series is finally available to stream and it has not disappointed.[1] The series gives an in-depth look at the day-to-day life of some of the top golfers in the world while also showing the drama of last year’s major championships.[2] It is beautifully shot and expertly edited, with a mix of interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and stunning golf shots.[1] This serves as a reminder of why we are passionate about golf, and gives us a rare glimpse into the world of professional golf.[1]
The series has garnered a lot of attention, not just from golf fans but those outside the sport, too.[3] It has even earned the attention of golf’s biggest social media stars, with Paige Spiranac inviting the show’s producer, Chadd Mumm, to her podcast.[4]
Golf fans should definitely watch Full Swing.[2] It is a great insight into a sport that many never get to experience. But the big question remains – will there be a Season 2 of Full Swing?[5] Netflix has yet to announce a renewal, but given the reviews and high viewership, we would be surprised if it didn’t return. If it does get a renewal, another season could premiere in March or April 2024. Until then, we’ll just have to wait and see.
