Top 25 World Golfers Compete in 2023 WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale

The 2023 WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale is underway and boasts an impressive roster of golfers.[0] Of the 134 players eligible to compete, 23 of the top 24 in the world are in the field, featuring No. 1 Rory McIlroy, No. 2 Scottie Scheffler, who won this event for his first victory last year, and No. 3 Jon Rahm.[1] Xander Schauffele (18-1), Jason Day (35-1) and two-time Olympic gold medalist, two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion, two-time FIFA Player of the Year and four-time Olympian Carli Lloyd are all in the running for the title.

With 22 of the top 25 players in the Official World Golf Rankings competing, the competition is sure to be fierce.[2] Scottie Scheffler and Adam Hadwin currently lead the pack at 10 under respectively, while Jon Rahm, Jordan Spieth and Xander Schauffele are two shots behind them at 8 under.
