The New Titleist Scotty Cameron Super Select Collection of Putters is Coming!

Golfers everywhere rejoice, as the new Titleist Scotty Cameron Super Select collection of milled 303 stainless-steel putters is set to be released this March and May. The new line of putters features distinct shaping enhancements and industrious weight redistribution to develop Scotty Cameron’s most forgiving yet traditional models ever.[0]

The first set of putters, which includes the Super Select Newport, Newport Plus, Newport 2, Newport 2 Plus, Newport 2.5 Plus, and Squareback 2 models, are set to be available on March 17.[0] Prices for these models will be $449.[1] On May 19, four additional models will be released, including the Super Select Fastback 1.5, Del Mar and the new GOLO 6 and GOLO 6.5 models.[0] The Del Mar and GOLO 6.5 models will also be offered in left-handed options.[2]

The Super Select putters offer performance weighting with two customizable heel-toe weights (tungsten or stainless steel based on model) and stepless steel shafts.[2] Each model is precision milled from 303 stainless steel, which allows for an insert-free putter head and face for superior feel and feedback. Additionally, 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components have been misted and anodized in a clear, bright aluminum finish.[3]

To achieve optimal weight distribution and higher MOI, Scotty Cameron has leveraged multi-material construction. This means combining precision milled 303 stainless steel heads and 6061 aircraft aluminum sole plates, resulting in weight from the center of the putter head being repositioned around the perimeter to increase stability. This design offers players a similar shape of a blade from their address and provides a higher Moment of Inertia for a more confidence-building stance.[3]

The ‘Plus’ models, which were introduced on Tour last year, are key to the 2023 Super Select family.[4] These models feature a slightly wider look than more traditional blade models and are sized between a traditional blade width and wider-flanged models.[1]

Apart from the Super Select Del Mar and GOLO 6 models, each Super Select putter features a new “I-beam” neck design that Scotty adapted from putters he’s made for tour professionals.[1]
